Overview: The event involves a ½ mile swim in Foy's Lake, followed by a 20 kilometer bicycle ride in the surrounding beautiful gentle rolling hills, finished by a 5 kilometer run through the streets of Kalispell. There are age and gender categories and prizes are given to the top three finishers in each category.

When: July 23rd, 2017.

Where: Starting at Foy's Lake outside Kalispell

Fees: There is an entry fee to compete. Free to watch for spectators

Details: The event is labeled as laid back. This event also takes place close to Glacier National Park, so you can try your skills at a Triathlon in combination with a visit to this scenic, beautiful area. The Summer Solstice Triathlon is open to a limited number of people, so be sure to check the schedule and register to participate early.

A Duathlon is also part of the festivities if you choose to only compete in the run/bike/run portions.
